Well HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all the moms in blogland and reading this post! I know it seems silly but I am so excited for my first Mothers day, even if my daughter isn't born yet. When we told one of our friends this, he was like the baby isn't even born yet. Best response ever by my husband, I don't think the baby is going anywhere, either way there is a baby that she is taking care of making her a mother. Gotta love him. No clue what we are doing yet except coming home on Sunday to see our moms.
Amelia has been kicking and moving up a storm. It started on the night Osama bin Laden was announced as dead. She was kicking so hard Josh got to feel it. I guess she knew that his death made mommy and daddy very happy. Now I feel her doing all sorts of acrobats inside me. Yesterday I am pretty sure she was kicking me in one spot and punching me in another lol. And she loves to do summersaults. I guess I should be looking into gymnastics classes now already.
In celebration of Cinco de Mayo yesterday we went shopping and out to eat to Tequila's. We got the circles and paint to make her letters in her room. Pictures to follow. Got a pack of bottles cheap with two coupons. Went to Kohls, I love that store, got an adorable outfit, heart capris, matching shirt, heart onesie, flower shirt, jegging capris, and raincoat and only paid about $30 dollars. 60-80% clearance and an extra 15% off family and friends caused us to save almost $85 dollars. So if anyone needs to get clothes I would advise you to go there, they had so much stuff I had to quit looking because I would have bought way too much! Then we went to Target and our $33 bill ended up costing us less than $9. Not bad considering I bought two things of John Freida shampoo/conditioner that should have cost $5.96 a piece and Josh got three things of Nivea mens body/hair wash and we got two packs of batteries. I LOVE COUPONS!!!
