Well now that all of you know that it's a girl I figured I would put the details up of the last doctor's visit. When the midwife saw us she used the doppler to hear the heartbeat. Amelia was a wiggle butt. She started out at 135 bpm and shot up to 160 bpm because she was jetting back and forth like a bolt of lightning. After that we got to go get the exciting ultrasound. They took so many pictures to give the doctors all the information they needed. They even gave us a 4D ultrasound that we didn't know we were getting that day.
She looks like she has a microphone up to her mouth ready to sing! When she told us what we were having "and your having a girl" first words out of my mouth were YES! We were both fine with either but knowing that I make bows and could use my daughter as the newest model made me so happy.
She is weighing in at 13 ounces and during the ultrasound she was at 143 bpm. They also gave us a DVD so we could watch the ultrasounds and listen to the heartbeat.
That day I impressively only bought a little pink frame. Since then though Josh hasn't been so lucky. I have purchased at least five onesies, a sweater (on clearance for $1), a pair of capris, a little sweat suit, a couple bodysuits, and one adorable pair of pink glitter shoes. Now I am in the process of making bows to match everything.
I have since gained a few pounds but still really don't have any weird cravings. I also can still fit in my regular shirts but need maternity pants.
