What a weekend! We decided to go visit friends over a long weekend. Our first family trip as a family of three. We left Friday night after the football game. We got on the road around 10:45PM and didn't get to our destination of Biglerville, PA until about 3:00PM the next day their time so 2:00PM our time. It was a trip let me tell you. But worth every minute of it. The Wadlows were so happy to see us and we were so happy to see them. Aunt Carri spoiled the heck out of Amelia and she loved every minute of it. On Saturday after we arrived we went out to eat for supper and then just enjoyed ourselves with a bonfire and smores in the backyard.
On Sunday we went to Gettysburg which is only about ten minutes away from their house. This is our first family vacation photo:

Later that night Carri and TJ made us steak, potatoes, corn, and green beans. It was so yummy. Here are the kids Monday morning playing with Amelia before we left:
We left Monday around noon and didn't get home until about 3AM. Then tried to go to bed but little miss Amelia was stubborn so it was a long night/morning. It was all worth it though to see such great friends!
How fun!! I'd love to pack up and go on a whirlwind trip!
